Here are links and information for transportation, lodging, and great restaurants in the Eugene/Springfield area. Transportation The Amtrak station is conveniently located in downtown Eugene, two blocks from the Hilton Hotel. It's also right near the Smith Family Bookstore. (A decidedly dangerous place!) Our local airport is serviced by several major carriers. There's also car rental and shuttles available. Several of the major hotels offer shuttle service to registered guests. Lodging We have a variety of lodging options available in the Eugene/Springfield area. There are many charming Bed and Breakfasts and Hotels in every price range. We suggest B&Bs in Eugene proper, and any hotels in downtown or near the university. Car Rental Several car rental options are available at the Eugene Airport. Restaurants For your Friday and Saturday night dining pleasure, we're happy to provide a list of some of our favorite places--we're fans of great cuisine, and are happy to share.
